@staticsafe i'm really glad halo 1 and 2 are on pc and i own both. halo 3, burnout 3, and midtown madness 3 are the top games i'm disappointed never made it to pc.

@staticsafe i never played much of the old nfs games other than a couple times at a friends place, but i did tinker with mm2 a bit. was fun to mod. too bad mm3 had no mods, but it had a fun story mode and some decent races imo
Fuck the Flood though, especially the fuckers that explode
the thing about the Flood though is it forced you to change up what weapons you used, mainly you had to switch back to Human weapons like the assault rifle and the shotgun
basically all Covenant weapons except the needler were useless against the Flood and there wasn't enough needler ammo to make that playstyle sustainable
@staticsafe the flood are good because they make the shotgun useful
playing the Flood levels on Legendary must be something, I had a hard enough time on the standard difficulty
actually I tried playing Halo 1 on legendary a while back and I couldn't make it past the initial Pillar of Autumn level
you basically can't take any enemy fire
what do you mean I actually have to take cover in a first person shooter and can't just run and gun?!

@staticsafe My experience with replaying halo 2 and 3 is that there is no nostalgia. Nostalgia is irrational. Halo 1-3 are just incredibly well made games.
